Your event day has come and gone. Everything ran smoothly, the guests had a fantastic time, and you finally kicked off your shoes to relax. You are all done…right?

Not quite.

The coffee urns are empty; the last attendee has left the building. Great event planners know that their job isn’t over when the last guest leaves. Post-event management is what turns a one-time gathering into a lasting impression (and hopefully future bookings).

Foxie has five tips on how to finish your event strong:

  1. Keep the conversation going – Share photos, highlight reels, speaker quotes, and contest winners on social media. When attendees relive the highlights of the show, they stay emotionally connected…and your brand stays in the forefront of their mind.
  2. Conduct an honest debrief – Meet with your team to review what worked, and what bombed. Honest feedback now prevents awkward conversations later.
  3. Ask attendees what they think – Post event surveys are worth their weight in gold. You’ll learn what people loved, what confused them, and what they would like to see and learn more about.
  4. Dive into the data – See who signed up to learn more about what you are offering, what did you sell, website traffic, etc. Numbers don’t lie…spend some time studying what yours are telling you.
  5. Crunch the numbers – Pay vendors (strong relationships with partners depend on prompt payment), reconcile expenses, and if the budget allows, treat your team to a nice dinner…hopefully they earned it!

To make things even easier, let LinkMy.Events simplify the entire post-event process. From communication tools and surveys to centralized information sharing, it helps you stay organized without juggling twelve spreadsheets and a stress headache.

Because LinkMy.Events knows that truly successful events don’t just end…they leave people counting down until the next event arrives.
