The fourth quarter of 2022 is here. Now what?

The fourth quarter of 2022 is almost here…. where did the year go? Now is the time for you to review your sales strategies and goals in preparation for achieving your fourth-quarter and year-end sales goals.

Here at Foxie, we have compiled a short checklist for you to help guide you in the right direction

 Look for important dates and events – Take a month-by-month look at any events that may hinder your sales progress and construct a plan to work around them. 

  • Will you or your team be attending any conferences?
  • Do you have new clients that you need to onboard?
  • Are you taking on any new projects that may hinder you from reaching your sales goals?
  • Who has time off and for how long?

Get off to a fast start – When your team gets off to a fast start in October, it builds momentum and helps them realize that the goals they have set are achievable and that their strategies and tactics are working. 

Communication is key - Review your team’s and everyone’s sales goals. Hold a daily 10-minute “pump up” meeting or Zoom, to recognize who is selling and ask them to share any tips or ideas they may have. Quickly assess challenges and coach your team accordingly. Run a sales contest for each month of the fourth quarter or try setting a hard number and offering bonuses to those who achieve it. 

Focus on your current customers and prospects. Check in with your current clients, to see if they need any assistance or see if you can “upsell them” to help achieve your goals.

If you don’t check in with them regularly and know what their needs and wants are...someone else will. 

You got this! – The fourth quarter should be looked upon as more than just the last 3 months of the calendar year. It is the big push to help ensure you reach your annual sales goals
