Who is Foxie?
You have been receiving numerous emails and reading blogs from Foxie for a few months now. You may be wondering who exactly Foxie is and what we do and offer.
Security and Stability – Foxie is a spinoff of Iron Medical Systems (IMS), which has been offering world-class private medical clouds, specifically built for radiation and oncology centers, since 2009.
In the medical environment, IMS must follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and security. HIPAA is a federal law that requires the creation of national standards to protect sensitive health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge.
In 2016, IMS achieved the highest level of certification by meeting all the standards and guidelines for managing patient and customer data with a HITRUST Certification. HITRUST gives organizations a way to prove compliance with HIPAA-mandated security and privacy controls. HITRUST takes the requirements of HIPAA and builds on them, incorporating them into an industry standard and world-class framework based on security and risk. To receive this certification, it is not only costly but very time-consuming to ensure that the hundreds of security controls are consistently met.
Enterprise Grade – Delivering over 30,000 radiation treatments and as many as 35 million messages per day via 4 separate, highly secure data centers across the U.S., IMS offers purpose-built cloud infrastructures to small and medium-sized businesses that otherwise, couldn’t afford to run on this type of environment.
Every customer is protected in a separate silo – Whether we are providing a cloud for the medical industry or the telco industry, this structure provides a secure database and API server – one per customer. Every other company out there has one large database, a co-tenancy…it’s like a huge melting pot. The bigger the database, the slower it will be. If one customer in the database goes down for whatever reason, everyone goes down. For example, say another company got attacked by ransomware. You wouldn’t be able to run your business until that is taken care of. You don’t want that.

Snapshot Data – We take a snapshot of your data every hour, every day for the previous 5 days, so in case anything ever did happen, you will be able to restore from a backup. If something goes wrong with your data in the middle of the night, for example, we can back it up to the way that it was right before the problem occurred. Whew… and you won’t lose anything!
Customized Reporting - We will work with you to create customized reports to meet your business needs. Working together as a team will allow you to grow your business and your profitability. When you are successful, we are successful.
Expert IT Department - We are the easiest and the friendliest group to work with. Our IT department will help guide you every step of the way and can customize just about anything you desire to meet your needs. You won’t find another company that will do that.
