What is 10DLC?
You have come to the realization that you need to get the word out about your business quickly and efficiently. You understand what texting is and have finally decided to take the plunge into business texting.

10DLC stands for 10-digit long code...your personal phone number 860-555-7202...is a 10-digit long code.
There are quite a few rules and regulations regarding 10DLC text messaging compliance, so let’s take a moment to review a few of the key requirements.
Register your business – Foxie will handle all the legwork for you to make sure this is done properly. A few of the things you will need:
- The legal name of your company
- Your company’s tax number/EIN
- Your business website
- Describe how you collect opt-ins for contacts
- Description of what you will be texting, as well as sample messages to review
