What is a "Bottom-Up" culture in the workplace?

A Bottom-Up culture (sometimes called a “Grass Root Culture”) is a company’s approach where decision-making, idea-sharing, and problem-solving aren’t solely dictated by the corporate office. These ideas derive primarily from varying levels of the company’s employees, from entry-level to management. People are happier when they have input about their workplace, rather than orders and ideas being barked down from above by company officers.

Foxie values the collective intelligence and creativity of everyone in our company. When employees are more involved in their company, it will lead to a culture of increased employee engagement, higher levels of innovation, and a more adaptable and responsive organization.

  3. Responsibility – When an employee helps to make decisions, they also become more responsible for their decisions and actions. This sense of responsibility fosters accountability and a commitment to achieving the company’s goals.
  4. Continuous Learning – In an atmosphere where learning and development is promoted, and employees are encouraged to continuously improve their skills and knowledge, you will find people are happier and take more pride in their work.
  5. Diversity and Inclusion - A Bottom-Up culture values diversity and inclusion, as different opinions and points of view often lead to more creative and effective solutions.
