Why Nobody is Buying What You Are Selling - And How To Fix It

As a businessperson, you are super excited about the product that you are offering. You have poured your time, heart and resources into developing and perfecting it. As a salesperson, you have no doubt that what you are selling is the real deal, and you know that people will flock to you and wonder where you have been their whole life!

All that is great...you have the right attitude, and you are fired up!

Your product may be incredible, and you might be the best salesperson the world has seen since Mary Kay...but your potential customers don’t care.

They want their itch scratched, their pain relieved, and their problem solved.

People buy products or services based on how it makes them feel, what they think they can use it for, or how it solves a problem they have.

That’s it.

Foxie understands that getting the word out about your product, and getting people to believe in it, is quite an undertaking. Here are some suggestions that should assist you along your journey:

  1. Are you marketing to the right audience? – If you are targeting the wrong people, even the best product won’t sell. The new snow shovel you invented probably won’t be a big seller in Hawaii, no matter how great it works. Understand who you are aiming to sell to and focus on that demographic.
  2. What is the value of what you are offering? – Is your product worth the time and money investment required by the customer? Make sure to highlight not only the features of your product, but how it will benefit them.
  3. Check your pricing – If your price is too high, customers will look for a less expensive alternative. If it’s too low, they will assume it’s an inferior product. Research your competitors pricing and test different pricing strategies.

Don’t sell the product, SELL THE SOLUTION!
